A bustling 2023 has flown by. It was so eventful that it took us a whole month to wrap things up.
Nevertheless, here we are, eager to share our whirlwind of experiences with you and outline our forthcoming plans for 2024. Traditionally, let us commence with the development department.
Development
Throughout the past year, we implemented numerous updates and introduced new services. One of the accomplishments of the year was our successful completion of a security audit, followed by the implementation of recommended changes by experts.
In response to the feedback from our clients, we incorporated enhancements tailored for those valuing speed and simplicity, including streamlined currency conversion without order books. Simplified exchange represents one of the variants of “best price” market orders.
Additionally, we doubled the roster of available currencies. Our newcomers include USDC, Avalanche, Tron, Cosmos, euros, and Kyrgyzstani som.
We revamped the methods for deposits and withdrawals. Clients can now withdraw from $100 to $1,500 to VISA cards, as well as execute withdrawals via USD and USDT SWIFT transfers. When withdrawing USDT, funds are converted into USD at a 1-to-1 ratio.
We introduced a new deposit method – bank transfers via requisites. These operations are conducted manually through our support team.
Transaction Bot:
We developed a Telegram bot, allowing clients to swiftly receive notifications regarding transactions and account status via Telegram, in addition to email.
The second function of the bot enables monetary transfers via Telegram handles. Funds can be transferred to anyone with a Telegram account and a public handle starting with “@”.
Should the recipient not be registered with Bitbanker, they can access the received funds after registration and connecting the bot to their account.
This year, we plan to expand the bot’s functionality by incorporating currency buying and selling features.
Investment Service:
In 2023, we launched an investment service designed to assist individuals in multiplying their capital through traditional and crypto-assets.
The development team dedicated considerable efforts to ensure the service’s user-friendliness and comprehensive display of information regarding investment products.
Simultaneously, the asset management team actively develops four investment strategies. Users have already entrusted us with $140,000.
Crypto-acquiring Widget:
Our HTML widget facilitates cryptocurrency payments for goods and services on websites. We developed three widget variants.
Customers can specify the invoice and payment amount in rubles or USDT, while the client can pay for their purchase in bitcoins, ether, or USDT equivalent.
Video Assistants:
In collaboration with the marketing department, we added 48 video assistants covering every section of the platform in two languages: English and Russian. These videos demonstrate the utilization of selected services to users.
Marketing
In 2023, Bitbanker’s audience tripled, with 23 thousand users registering on the platform.
Financial Advisory Bot:
We developed an intelligent bot based on Chat-GPT. Finn serves as a pocket consultant for financial queries.
Through this smart bot, we aim to assist individuals in understanding financial matters while naturally promoting Bitbanker.
Content Marketing Results:
Since 2023, we’ve been actively expanding our YouTube channel. Over the year, we released 38 videos on finance and cryptocurrencies, garnering 442 subscribers and over 26,000 views.
Our second primary source is our blog on VC.ru. The blog’s audience doubled, exceeding 1,000 subscribers. Throughout the year, we published 137 articles generating 545 thousand views.
We regularly feature on the Kommersant and RBC Pro, contribute columns to Hackernoon, and appear on YouTube channels “BogdanovKurse” and “Vernym Kursom”.
Traffic:
In collaboration with the development department, we crafted landing pages that organically attract traffic to Bitbanker.
Thanks to these landing pages, we now rank first on Yandex search for 103 keywords and within the top 10 for 142 keywords.
The number of visits from search engines has surged by 266%.
Visits and Registrations:
Compared to 2022, last year witnessed 207 thousand more site visits.
The average daily visits increased by 513. As of January 2024, our website is visited on average 829 times per day.
The conversion rate from visits to registrations rose by nearly 5%.
User retention rates increased by 17%.
Bitbanker Educational Platform:
Since early 2023, we’ve been developing our blog with articles on cryptocurrencies, finance, and investments.
Building upon this foundation, we aim to establish an educational platform. We began with educational articles in Russian, covering services offered on Bitbanker, explaining the workings of SWIFT and VISA transfers, and covering crypto-acquiring.
Each article is supplemented with tests to reinforce comprehension. Some of these articles have achieved top rankings on Yandex already.
Business
The year 2023 was rich in partnerships and projects, some more successful than others, but we continue to forge ahead.
With our partners from Kyrgyzstan, we opened an office in Bishkek and obtained a license to operate with digital assets.
Last year, we initiated the development of white-label technology to provide Bitbanker’s technologies to other platforms. This stands as one of our key focus areas for 2024. We’ve already signed agreements with Royal Pure Gold and globalpo.ru/.
We persist in developing our mobile application. We’re currently preparing for a release that will transform the mobile site into a web application. With this new technology, we can send push notifications to clients, remind them more frequently of our services, and incentivize their usage.
Moreover, we’re progressing towards one of our major goals: the issuance of our own debit card. Currently, we’re in negotiations regarding integration with several EMIs.
